I enjoy forest school because you can do really good activities like climbing trees and making dens with your friends. We also made little dens for hedgehogs and worm houses.

In forest school, I enjoyed climbing trees and making s’mores. We got to hold a marshmallow on a stick over a fire, which was really fun! We also had to work together to build a fort. I also enjoyed the obstacle course made out of tyres, wood planks and a wobbly rope to walk on

Forest school is really fun. We got to do fun activities and games. At the end of term, we made a campfire. We also built on our team work and problem-solving skills, we often had to think outside of the box to make things. Our teacher was also really fun!

I enjoy forest school because every week we get to do a fun activity. One time, we were given clay and googly eyes, we then then found sticks and used everything to make our own hedgehogs. We also learnt how to make shelters. Forest School is so FUN and I recommend it to everyone

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for such fun and creative after school classes at Sacred Heart Catholic primary . My kids love spending time outside and exploring the nature and this class fits them perfectly…they always come home happy ! Also , just wanted to mention that the teacher Rosie is lovely and always smiling . My two boys will be coming back

My daughter absolutely loved her forest school sessions on the Friday at HWP School. She has learned essential life skills which she’s keen to teach us. It’s been amazing and great to see her excitement about learning to build fires, roasting marshmallows and teaching me fun and interesting facts about spiders which my husband wasn’t amused about as he hates them. She now wants to explore on our walks and love her knowledge and keenness to teach her brother. Excellent sessions and really well done and put together. Credit to the teachers. Thank you.

My eldest son has loved Branch out forest school and the weekly time they’ve had learning new skills such flint and steel to make a fire, cooking & eating outdoors, and generally exploring what is on their doorstep! My other son is excited to start this term too! Can’t wait to hear what they get up to and have learned!

This is an amazing experience, the day was rainy and windy, but that didn’t stop the fun, my son didn’t even want to leave at the end of the session. Absolutely wonderful.

My 3 year and 6 year old had great fun today doing the Japanese printing ,bug hunt and the fairy castle. The team are amazing. They said they would love to do it again

My daughter is 3.5 years old and absolutely loved her first forest school. She engaged really well with the activities. The people who run the school are excellent, very professional and fun! All of the children seemed to be in their element!

My daughter attended forest school this morning and loved it! The staff were really knowledgeable and enthusiastic and my girl had a fab time. Lots of interesting activities and opportunities to get muddy and explore the surroundings. Will definitely be back for future sessions

My daughter attended forest school and absolutely loved it! She said this evening “tomorrow when I go back to forest school….” she also came back and named one of her toys Rosie (The leading teacher) so she definitely made an impression on my daughter. I hope more sessions are run in the future.

My daughter attended forest school and she really enjoyed herself she said she “I had lots of fun and loved being outside hunting for things” she is looking forward to doing it all over again. The two people that run it were very enthusiastic and ever so friendly and happy…. Made my at times shy daughter feel totally at ease. Thanks very much.

My son had a fabulous time at Branch Out Forest School. He really enjoyed all activities from fairy wand making, treasure hunt, cake making and so much more – the children worked together as a team to make this creation for someone’s Mummy whose birthday is today! The team are so professional and organised with a range of activities for the children, and tea and coffee for the parents to enjoy. Looking forward to booking more sessions

A great day out. Took boys 4 and 8 years old, both had a great time. Leaders went with the flow of the kids’ interests and even the ones initially reluctant to join in were soon making creatures and telling the group about them. Although the activities are suitable for junior age kids, most of the ones booked on were younger so I’d advise bringing a friend for your child if over 7. 4 year old said “Hmm, I loved this forest school, can we come again next week?” as we left. Will look forward to next year!

Thank you for having my daughter Leilah at Forest school yesterday, she thoroughly enjoyed herself! I don’t often feel comfortable leaving my child with people but I had no worries at all with forest school, all the staff were so lovely I knew she would be well looked after. She was chatting away when I picked her up about everything she had done & all the thing she had learned. Also my ‘birthday cake’ was lovely and thank you to everyone for singing happy birthday!! Leilah can’t wait to come back to forest school!

Can I just thank you for being so patient and understanding with him. Even though you knew nothing of his background you dealt with him amazingly the fact you understood that he needed one to one time and you didn’t allow him to overtake the class with negative behaviour and praising him for positive was great to see. I left your class feeling like he is going to be alright and remembering how far he has come from last year. The 3 hours session helped us both tremendously.
